Terrill L. Wondrasek

Terrill L. Wondrasek, age 70, of S. Chicago Heights, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026. She is survived by her loving children: Stephen (Laura) Hawkins, Jr., Sarah (Allen) Lin, and Joshua (Kimberly) Hawkins; her cherished grandchildren: Josh, Victoria, Zachary, Jadyn, Mila, Antonio, Lyvia, and Baby Hawkins; and her brothers: Randy Pekk and John Pekk.

Teri was preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen Hawkins; second husband, Daniel Wondrasek; parents: Henry and Edna Pekk; brother, Ronald Pekk; and sister, Arlendale Hobbs.

Born and raised in the area, Teri was a 1974 graduate of Bremen High School. She married her first husband, the late Stephen Hawkins, Sr., early in 1974, and together they welcomed three children into the world. In 2001, she married her second husband, the late Daniel Wondrasek. Teri dedicated herself to raising her family with love and care. A woman of deep faith, she served joyfully as a Sunday school teacher at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Steger, IL. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren, finding delight in reading and tending her garden. Above all, Teri was a devout believer in Jesus Christ, and her faith guided her life and touched those around her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Skyline Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 24800 S. Governors Highway, Monee, IL 60449. A chapel service will follow at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Charles Mueller officiating. Interment will take place at Mt. Greenwood Cemetery in Chicago.
