Americo “Ric” Bruno age 82 of Orange, CT entered into eternal rest July 9, 2014 at Yale-New Haven hospital. Born December 28, 1931 in Bridgeport, CT to Frank and Anna Bruno he was married November 17, 1963 to Dorothy Vastano. A longtime Sikorsky employee, Ric “The Music Man” would moonlight doing what he loved, playing jazz on his saxophone in nightclubs throughout the greater Bridgeport area. Ric is survived by sons Richard Bruno and wife Joyce of Jonesboro ME, Ronald Bruno and wife Tess of Torrance, CA, daughter Lynda Pasquarella and husband Wayne of Shelton, CT, grandchild Natasha Bruno of Torrance, CA, sister Vera Chicarelli and husband Thomas of Trumbull, CT., and many nieces and nephews. Ric was predeceased by his son Thomas Bruno in 1997, sisters Marianne, Fanny, Theresa, Helen, Patty, and Connie. Entombment will be in St. Michael cemetery in Stratford, CT. Services will be private.
