Julian Michael Cerrato passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving mommy and daddy on January 19, 2011. Julian was born on November 8, 2010 at Bridgeport Hospital. During his 9 weeks here on earth, he touched many lives and was deeply loved by his family and friends. Julian is the son of Michael and Elizabeth Dias Cerrato of Monroe and the brother of Lilliana and Lucas Cerrato. His paternal grandparents are Enzo and Loretta Cerrato of Trumbull and maternal grandparents Domingos and Maria Elisa Dias of Bridgeport. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital PICU and Bridgeport Hospital’s NICU for the incredible care provided to Julian and the entire family. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher and Son Community Funeral Home in Monroe, CT. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Jude church in Monroe, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven in Trumbull. Julian, we will always love you and hold you close to our heart, your favorite place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Julian’s memory to Families of SMA at www.fsma.org.
