

He was the son of the late George and Catherine Gustaitis of Monroe, CT. He is survived by his wife Patricia Gustaitis, his son Jonathan Gustaitis and his wife Irene of Los Angeles, CA, his son Jeffrey Gustaitis and his wife Jessica of Newtown, CT and grandchildren Sebastian and Jack. In addition, he is survived by his sister Judith Sheehan and family of Otis, MA and his brother G. Ronald Gustaitis and family of The Villages, FL.
Receiving his Master Degree in Business, Brian began his career in the food industry at The Campbell Soup Company and Nestle. He then moved on to become Vice President at Pepperidge Farm, President of Tetley Tea USA, and President of Kozy Shack Pudding. Most recently in his career he formed his own management consulting business, working with companies such as Hill & Valley and Circle Peak Capital Investments.
He was an avid golfer, sports fan and an accomplished musician playing the saxophone all his life. Brian also enjoyed fishing, boating and jet skiing on Lake Zoar and walking the beach in Fort Pierce, Fl. Early in his life, Brian was a drill sergeant in the Army Reserve.
Friends may call at Spadaccino & Gallagher Funeral home located at 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468 on Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 from 4-8pm. The funeral service will be on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 at 10am at St. Thomas The Apostle on 733 Oxford Road in Oxford, CT.
