CONNOR Carol Anne McHugh Connor, age 80 of Monroe, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 in her bed at home with her three children at her side. She graduated from Stamford High School. A resident of Monroe since 1962, she attended St Stephen's Church. A devoted mother and wife, she was pre-deceased by her husband, Richard Donald Connor, Sr., and is survived by her sons, Richard Jr. of Orlando, Fla. and Robert of Monroe; and daughter, Maureen Quidgeon of Thomaston; numerous nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Stephen’s Church, 6948 Main Street Trumbull, CT 06611 in Carol’s name. Friends may greet the family Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home 315 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street Trumbull, CT on March 11, 2011. Interment will be private. .
