Dear Rena and family,

My brother Rob told me of your loss and I am very sorry.  Although I never met Darwin I remember what a fine person Rena is, and I  am sure he too must have shared the same humor, love of life and sensitivity toward life as Rena.
I enjoyed looking at the photographs of Darwin's on line, especially the ones he took of flowers.  They were so intimate and special; as if he was sharing with us
a secret about nature.  My favorite photographer Diane Arbus said " taking pictures is like tiptoeing into the kitchen late at night and stealing Oreo cookies."  It is an art form that allows the photographer to create and partake of a special world a secret world and then share it with us.  

I bet that Darwin has done this with his family and friends, and this is perhaps the greatest of gifts.  May his memory stay close to all of you.

Dear Rena,
Darwin will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him at Flagpole Photographers.  He was a wonderful person who supported and inspired us all.   Thinking of you and your family at this time and sending my deepest condolences.

Renee, Dareen, Brian and Lynda, I love you  all and I especially loved your Darwin. Renee you and Darwin were my second parents because I never hesitated a second to ask either of you a question I couldn't ask my parents. We were the real "That 70s Show", except Darwin didn't exhibit the anger that Red Forman did even if Ron and the rest of us children gave him every right to go ballistic. I loved his pear cider and his gentle nature. Darwin, you rock

dear renee darene lynda and brian, so sorry to hear of your husband, dads passing. I never met such a gentle   man  as his gentleness was so obvious !!! and outstanding.  we were blessed to have Darwin build our house in 1959. He did a great job and was a great carpenter. He was always so calming Darwin even gets to spend Christmas in heaven as he gave into the living God.bless your family and may his legacy of peace  live in in all your hearts this christmas season---- bless you all

Dear Brian, Barbara and the Bacchiocchi family, I'm so sorry for your loss.  I often heard of Mr. Bacchiocchi from both Ron and Brian back in the day.  He seems to have been a wonderful man.  I still think of and miss Ron very much.  My sincerest condolences,

Dar, Rena and I worked together at Fairfield Hills Hospital.  We had a great time and share some fun memories. Loved Darwin when he "blew his horn" out the back porch in Monroe. Then his neighbor blew his horn back.  Miss him already.

I miss you so much already, Dad!!  You had a quiet, gentle strength, and were a man of kindness, character and humility.  You were the best dad anyone could ever hope for.  I love you!

Darwin and I played baseball and football with the Sylvan Crest guys in northern Bridgeport in the '40s. He was a good athlete and a "good" guy. Peace....dear friend.
