The life of Frank J. Pacenti of Monroe, CT, who died on June 3rd, 2021, at the age of 90 is to be celebrated Friday, July 30th, 10:00 am – 1:30 pm at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT. Interment and military honors to immediately follow funeral home services, at St. John Cemetery, Moose Hill Road, Monroe.
Frank was a 1949 graduate of Bassick High School in Bridgeport. After his high school graduation, Frank became a member of the U.S. Army, serving on the front lines of the Korean War which led to him becoming a bronze star recipient. After retiring from the military, he worked a number of jobs including working for Handy & Harman Machine Shop, Remington Products and running his own Army – Navy store in Monroe.
In life, Frank enjoyed watching baseball (always rooting for the Yankees) and visiting Cape Cod with his family.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Gail S. Pacenti, his daughter, Jodi Warren, his daughter-in-law, Mary Sampson, and his eight grandchildren. He is predeceased by his children Frank Pacenti Jr., Pamela Danka and David Sampson.
