Gaetano (Guy) Fedele of Milford, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on Tuesday August 21, 2012. He was born in Rochester, PA on August 26, 1930 and was the son of the late Carlo and Philomena (Riccardi) Fedele, he is the brother of the late Antoinette Rodko and Theresa DeLucia. He leaves behind his brother Thomas Fedele, sister Carol Sansone & husband Frank, of Bridgeport and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Guy moved to Golden Hill Health Care Center in Milford on October 27, 1974 and he was their longest resident. If you ever visited Golden Hill you would know Guy, he was always outside greeting and meeting people. Guy was a gentle, caring and loving soul, he loved life and all it had to offer him.
Guy was an avid Yankees fan and a huge fan of wrestling. In his earlier days, Guy painted, bowled and played Bingo. He also loved music and you would always find him next to the piano singing. Guy’s greatest love was his friends and family and he will live on through the countless people’s lives he has touched. Guy truly lived his beautiful life each and every day. He will be missed by many.
Guy’s family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Golden Hill and the Sol Amor Hospice Team for taking such good care of Guy through the years and making him their family. A special thank-you to Mary Ellen Bailey, for loving our brother and being his friend.
