Geoffrey D. Baldwin, age 66, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2016. Geoff was the devoted husband to Michele for 43 years; loving father to Kerrie and husband Tim, and Garrett and fiancée Meghan; and doting grandfather to Henry, Amelia, and Clara. He is also survived by his brother Chris and wife Marie. Geoff was born May 7, 1950, to Thomas E. and Mary Jane Baldwin in Drexel Hills, Pennsylvania, and he lived most of his life throughout Connecticut. He worked extensively in the publishing industry and for the past 14 years as an automotive salesman, most recently at BMW of Watertown. Geoff deeply enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his family, as well as playing his guitars and banjo and enjoying the outdoors while bicycling, running, hiking, and swimming in the ocean. The family would like to thank the oncology, medical, radiology, and nursing staff at Bridgeport Hospital for their excellent care. There will be calling hours 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., including a celebration of Geoff’s life at 3 p.m., on Wednesday, November 9, at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home in Monroe.
