James Edward Mulreed Jr.

He was born on November 23, 1953, in Stamford, CT., a son of the late James E. Mulreed Sr. and Dorothy T. Mulreed.

Jamie’s loving devotion to his family was steady and constant. He had a quiet strength that anchored those he loved and his presence was a gift to everyone who knew him. His kindness, sense of humor, gentle spirit and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to cross his path.

Jamie was an exceptionally loving father who gave his whole heart to his children, always giving them his unwavering love and support.

He was always quick to mention how proud he was of their talents, gifts and accomplishments.

To his siblings, he was more than a brother - he was a protector, a confidante, and the very best lifelong friend who was always there with his loving support. Whether through shared memories, many long conversations, or simple moments of laughter, he created bonds that will never be broken and memories that will be forever cherished.

In addition to his parents, Jamie was preceded in death by his son, Colin J. Mulreed and nephew, Daniel C. Dornbierer.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (Katie) E. Mulreed, sisters; Kathleen M. Altomaro and Kristie A. Blank, brother; Jeffrey T. Mulreed (Stephanie), nephews; Jordan Dornbierer, Frank Altomaro (Chelsey), Anthony Altomaro, Kevin Mulreed and Wil Mulreed, many cousins and the mother of his children, Janina Fostini.
