Rocco A. Zuccarelli Jr.

Rocco “Zuke” Zuccarelli Jr age 76, of Fairfield entered into eternal rest surrounded by his family Thursday July 21, 2011 at Midstate Medical Center. He was born April 1st, 1935 in Fairfield where he continued to live to present day. He was happiest when surrounded by his family at Sunday dinner, picnics and holidays. He was a very dedicated and a hard working man, and worked many years for General Electric and Fairfield lumber. He is a veteran of the Navy and served during the Korean War. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Rose Zuccarelli; As well as his children Rocco Zuccarelli III and Deborah Croteau of Stratford, Kina and her husband Mike Silva of Texas, and Theresa Croteau of Derby. Grandchildren Ashley Zuccarelli, Karlie Silva, Brion Berrios and Shane Silva. As well as his sisters Dolores Limbert, Lucy Alexios and Joann Tibbats. He was pre- deceased by his two brothers Dennis Zuccarelli and Peter Zuccarelli and his grandson Wilson Berrios. He also left behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a wonderful family man and will always be loved. Calling hours will be held Sunday, July 24th from 1-5 pm at Spadaccino’s & Gallagher Funeral Home 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, Ct. A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday July 25th at 10 a.m at Holy Family Church 700 Old Stratfield Rd. Fairfield, Ct. Burial will follow at St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford, CT.
