She was born on September 6, 1948, in Oakland CA—daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Eggert) Schwartz—and at age 2, moved to CT where she'd lived ever since.
Services will be held at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT, on Monday, Oct. 26th at 10 AM. Tammy Tanaka of the Saint Germain Foundation will be officiating.
Come gather with us, as we bid adieu to our dear sister, mother and friend, and celebrate her gentle life. Let's bring alive the happy smile and welcoming heart, which one would experience stepping into Suesan's woodland home, and settling down into the comfort of her care. Family and friend alike were held in the protection of that love—while, yet, the deepest part of it she reserved for her precious son, Jesse Brown, whom she seems to leave now; but that must only be because she has found a way to love him even more.
Suesan graduated from Bunnell High School, in Stratford, in 1966, and worked at a variety of jobs—from key punch operator, back at the start of the computer revolution to, most recently, a clerical position within the North Haven school system—where the students loved her, and from which she retired some years ago. She was a devoted follower of Beloved Jesus; and her love of music and of musical instruments charmed the atmosphere of her environment with its beauty and grace. She loved the outdoors, the changing seasons, and long drives in the country.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Brown, of Plymouth, her sister Helen Markoya, of Bethel, and her three brothers: John, of Shelton; Paul, of Phoenix, AZ; and Bob, and his wife Althea, of Granby.
