I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Victor.  He was an astonishing person that I grew to love dearly.  However, I take comfort in knowing he is watching over us & will forever be in our hearts.

My husband and I met Vick and Faye in 1966 and watched the family bloom.  It was instant love. The best time of our lives was spent with them at there home, parties, and on vacations.  We have remained friends throughout the years.  He gave us memories we will cherish and can never replace or forget.  There are not enough words to discribe how we felt about him.  He was truly a passionate unique person.  Our hearts ache with his passing. No one will ever be able to fill the void we feel.  Our deepest sympathy to all his family and friends.  Love Les & Lois

My Deepest condolences to the Rivera family. Victor was a well respected and positive influence to the Hispanic community here in Myrtle Beach. While I did not know him personally, I was aware of his positive presence in the Hispanic community. He will be missed greatly.

To the Rivera Family   I am so sorry to hear of Victor's passing.  I knew him as a very young man, and the whole family as well. In the Bronx on Hoe avenue.  I saw him  again many years later, living in New Rochelle and being in business in New rochelle, Portchester (The Gold ??).  My family is so sorry to hear of his passing.  He was a fine young man and a fine adult.  I used to walk him and the other siblings to school (margie and I).  Again I am deeply sorry for your loss. He will be in included in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Rivera, I recently had the privilege of being his nurse at Bridgeport Hospital.  He made my job so very easy, it was a pleasure to care for him and get to know him and his family.  In a very short time you can tell the character of someone and he was a fine man and father I am sure of that.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the honor to serve with Vic in the Marine Corps back in the sixties. I will forever fondly remember this man and his dancing skills.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I met Victor about four years ago through my work and I consider him a dear friend. Victor was such a kind and generous man. When we talked, especially during his illness, he always expressed his faith in God and said he was ready whenever God was ready for him.  He was an inspiration to me and I will truly miss him.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.


So sorry to hear about Victor.  I met him in rehab at Waccamaw last summer.  We cheered each other on.  I had lost my leg in a car accident.  I am back in rehab..walking.  Just happened tp pick up the newspaper.  Our prayers are with you. Mary Brenda & Harold Wood

Victor's incredible work with the Hispanic members of the Knights of Columbus in South Carolina will serve as a lasting legacy giving visible testimony to his great love of his fellow man.

Our thoughts are with you in your time of sadness.

My Deepest sympathy to Rivera family from an old Marine Corp buddy.  We served together in the Philippines and North Carolina. My sister would drive to the various places we landed on our weekend trips up north and drive us home. I seem to remember going up to the Bronx to one of his father's travel agencies which was located under the "EL" to visit. I have nothing but fond memories of Vic.

Dear Faye,

My heart goes out to you at this time. I want you to know that you and Vic were the best role models anyone could have asked for when it came to a couple being together and "so-in-love" for all time. 

Yours and Vic's was the greatest love affair. Everyone should have been as fortunate, because you two had something very special.

I look through the pictures and see the same happy face I remembered from 1959, but the only thing different is the white hair.  He still looked as he did all those years ago.

God bless and keep you, and your beautiful family, at this time in your hour of loss. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I only wish I could be there with you.
