Virginia Longo, 88 of Monroe, CT died peacefully at home on Dec. 17, 2015 after a long battle of multiple illnesses. Born in Minturno, Italy, she lived most of her life in Stamford, CT then Jupiter, FL. In her own sweet and gentle way, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Raymond Longo, her daughters; Roseann Roberto and her husband John, Doreen Crisafi and her husband Bart and Donna Renz and her husband Ron, all of Monroe. Se is also survived by six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one on the way; and her sister Vera Signore of Trumbull.
Visiting hours: Monday, December 21 , 4-8p.m, Spadaccino and Leo P Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 22 art 10 am at St Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
