Alice M. George

Alice was from Sultan, WA- She passed away at the age of 97 on February 25, 2013 in Yuma, AZ. She was born December 22, 1915 in Larson, Idaho. Alice and her husband Gordon were long time ranchers in Sultan. She enjoyed needle point, and she loved to tend her flower gardens. Both Alice and Gordon enjoyed traveling. Alice was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon of 42 years, by her son Bill, her granddaughter Cathy, by her parents David and Mildred Roberts, by her half- brother Clifford Bograt and her half- sisters Laura Bograt and Viola Vert by her sister Virginia Broughton and brothers; David Ben and Bill Roberts. Alice is survived by her daughter Alice Mae Richardson, by her grandchildren Donna, Denise, David and Robert, by 8 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held March 9th, Saturday at 11am with viewing between 9am and 11am at Purdy & Kerr with Dawson Funeral Home in Monroe, WA. Burial will be in the Sultan Cemetery following services.

Memorials may be made to PAWS, to your favorite Veterans Charity or the Wild Life Refuge Foundation.
