Anne Virginia Owens was born in Minneapolis, MN July 3, 1938. She was the first-born daughter to Margaret and George Owens. She was raised in Omaha NE where she graduated from Cathedral High School (1956) and met her husband, George John Weinert. George and Anne were married in 1958 at St. Bernard’s in Omaha NE. They proceeded to have five children, moved to the west coast and raised their family in the Seattle area. Anne graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental hygiene from the University of Oregon Dental School. Anne fought cancer and Parkinson’s for over a decade. Anne was a sweet soul with a kind word for everyone. Those who knew her may refer to her as a saint because she never spoke ill of a single soul, opened her heart and home to anyone and not once complained about the diseases or pain she endured. Anne is survived by her husband George, children: Molly, Dave, Tim, Theresa and Matt, eighteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, Sister Rita and many extended relations.
