Jonathan Edward Thenell Sharpe, age 35 years, has gone to be with the Lord in Heaven. Born August 10, 1981 as the fourth of five children to James C. and Nancy K. Sharpe, Jonathan leaves behind a daughter, Sasha Kiana, and a son, Bruce Edward; his parents and four siblings, Jake, Jason (Alicia), Stephanie Rimmer (John), Stacy Morse (Lans); seven nieces, one nephew and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jonathan graduated from Monroe High School in 2000. He wrestled for Monroe High School and USA Everett before being recruited to join the wrestling program at California State University at Bakersfield. Jonathan earned a B.S. in Science from CSUB in 2004. Following college Jonathan returned home and took up residence in Sultan, where he lived for the last 13 years. In 2007 Jonathan married Blanca Martinez with whom he had his two children.
Services will be held starting at 7p.m. Monday night April 10th with a Rosary at Purdy & Kerr Funeral Home in Monroe. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11th at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Duvall with graveside services following at 1:30 p.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood. An open house with family will be hosted by the Rock Church in Monroe beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
