Stuart G. Lacy, born April 2, 1964 in Thetford, England, passed away suddenly on September 3, 2013 in Pend Oreille County, WA. Stuart proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He was an avid military aircraft enthusiast and was proud of the farm he built with his family. Stuart is survived by his son Christopher Lacy (Jennifer) of Crestview, FL, daughter Jessica Lacy, his fiancée Debbie Hornberger of Monroe, former spouse Amy Blossom of Monroe, mother Patricia Lacy of Sumter, SC, brother Gary Lacy of Prattville, AL, sister Candace Lacy of Sumter, SC, and granddaughter Isabelle Connelly. He was preceded in death by his father Homer “Jim” Lacy, Jr. Stuart was a devoted family man and especially enjoyed being a grandpa. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11am at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA. A celebration of Stuart’s life will follow from 12-2pm at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, Olympia Room, 22318 – 84th Ave. S, Kent, WA 98032.
