William Hartford Pye, born May 17, 1929 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, passed away at his home in Monroe, Washington on August 24, 2013. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1951-53. William went on to work as a corrections officer counselor for 28 years with the State of Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence Pye and Goldie (Nelson) Pye. A memorial service honoring William’s life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 1pm at Peace Lutheran Church, Monroe, WA.
