Joe was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Esther, the love of his life, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage and a lifetime of memories. Even after her passing seven years ago, he continued to honor her through his stories and unwavering love.
He is survived by his five children—Eric, Judy, Lucille, Dolores, and Steve—along with nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom deeply felt his love and presence. Whether through his words, quiet strength, or the thoughtful little things he did, he made each of us feel seen, known, and cared for.
Dad owned his own gardening and landscaping business and worked tirelessly throughout his life. He took great pride in his work, and it showed. But what truly set him apart was his heart. He was always helping someone—whether it was family, a neighbor, or a stranger in need.
One of the things we’ll miss most is his storytelling. He had a way of bringing the past to life—his childhood, his work, the simple joys of everyday life—and his stories often made us laugh, reflect, or just feel connected.
He also had a lifelong love for horse racing, and nothing brought a spark to his eyes quite like watching a race or talking about his favorite horses.
He was loving, humble, and selfless. He lived a life rooted in quiet strength and devotion, and his legacy is one of generosity, hard work, and deep love. We’ll miss him more than words can express, but we carry his spirit with us, always.
We love you, Dad. Forever.
