It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Gary Little, dealer principal of Southwest Material Handling, Inc. (“SWMH”) on Friday, April 6, 2012. Gary was born April 16, 1939 in Los Angeles.
Gary worked at Clarklift Corporation from 1964 to 1975. From 1976 to 1987 he worked at Clarklift of Los Angeles, where he became part owner and VP & GM. In 1987, Gary sold his interest in Clarklift of Los Angeles.
On March 28, 1989 Gary established SWMH to purchase the Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside APR from Freeborn Equipment Company, and was appointed a Toyota dealer.
On December 12, 1997, SWMH was appointed the Toyota dealer in Southern Nevada, including Las Vegas.
Gary will be remembered for his dedication to his business, for being a mentor to his son Kirt and for being a very strong supporter of Toyota.
