Bill on many occasions was a life saver to us as owners of an old house in Monrovia.  This old home was often in need a  fix.  I'm guessing it was maybe 18-20 years ago that Bill first helped us out.
We had a repair man that left us in the middle of job.  I had seen Bill's truck in the neighborhood and went to inquire with a neighbor.  Bill showed up at my doorstep less than an hour later, took a look at the job and let us know he'd be happy to take on the job but could I wait till morning.
Over the years Bill took care of many odd jobs, painting, repairing, reinventing the wheel and all the while sharing the latest visit with his grandson.  I would have never known Thomas the Train if it wasn't for Bill and his love of his grandson and daughter.  In recent years Bill had shared his love of the Lord and what a difference it made in his life.
My husband and I were home the morning Bill passed.  We were so sorry to learn of his passing.   We are also sorry that we missed the memorial in honor of Bill.  Our condolences go out to Bill's family and friends.  We have truly missed his presence!

I'm sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your beloved Bill.  My heartfelt condolences to you and your entire family.  Sending you lots of love and healing thoughts during this difficult time. 

We are so sorry to hear of Billy’s passing. Will be thinking of you as you go to the funeral and in the days to come. God is good may he comfort you.

Everywhere I look, i see Bill's legacy of thrift, of finishing well, and of thinking "outside the box" to accomplish projects all around our old house. He could always find a fix for problems that stumped us, and while some solutions might've been unorthodox, they worked well just the same. He was fun as well as skilled, and was always game to try the impossible. Our favorite room in the house is named as such because Bill installed the crown moulding in there, and it is stunning.

We are heartbroken over the loss of our dear friend, but grateful for ministry from Pastor David Good. We miss you Bill!

Bill was like a brother to me, always there when I needed a shoulder to cry on or to help Frank and me with some new project. I would always asked him to help, and he would always be there. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do, and he did a lot for us. 
We will miss Bill and mourn his passing for a very long time.
