A visitation for Raymond will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Montebello, 913 West Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640. A rosary will occur Friday, March 24, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel, 913 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, California 90640. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 9:30 AM at St Benedict Church, 1022 W Cleveland Ave, Montebello, California 90640.

Raymond led his life with the utmost joy and enthusiasm until his passing. Born in the summer of 1966, he spent much of his life in the South-East region of Los Angeles County. Raymond worked for most of his adult life, taking great pride in showing up and giving his best effort. He also shared as much, if not more pride in his appearance and the presentation of his home. Whether he was off to an appointment, or simply swinging by for some lunch, you could count on Raymond to be dressed to the nines.

Raymond also cherished the simple parts of life, savoring each moment that brought time with those he cared about. Whether it was a cruise down the boulevard with his sister and friends, or an evening in watching a movie with lots, and lots of popcorn, Raymond was at his brightest when he was with others.

Raymond always showed care and concern for those around him, often before his own needs. In fact, despite his many health challenges Raymond always took the time to ask how he could help those around him.

One of the greatest joys in Raymond’s life was bringing together all his loved ones. Countless weekends and holidays were spent at Raymond’s home, where he reveled in the comfort of community. If there was a dance floor involved in the festivities, Raymond could surely be found on it. Although he is survived by his family and loved ones, including his sister Susan, his brothers Frank and Anthony, his sons Michael and Christopher, his partner of 20 years Hugo, and his many God Children, he also lives on through the many lives he touched along his journey.
