Becky Pickett “Nanny” went home to be with the Lord May 18, 2014. Born October 16, 1955, she is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Edith “Nanny” Dailey. Survived by her loving parents, Horace Scott of Pell City, AL and Betty Ray of Dogwood, AL; husband of 40 years, Michael “Butch” Pickett; daughters, Stacy Burnside (Chris) of Pea Ridge, AL and Holly Rice (Andy) of Woodstock, AL; Brother, Darryl Scott of Montevallo, AL; and Grandson, Luke Rice. Becky worked for the city of Montevallo as city clerk and was a loyal member of Macedonia Baptist church; she will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends, whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo, AL from 6pm to 8pm for friends. The service will begin at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in the Rockco funeral Home Chapel, followed by a graveside service at Macedonia Cemetery in Pea Ridge, AL. service to be officiated by Brother Don Vanderslice, Brother Houston Belcher, and Brother Andy Rice (Graveside).
