Betty Irene (Mackey) Harris passed away peacefully in Alabaster, Alabama on the 27th of February 2015, at the age of 72. Betty is survived by her husband, Jimmy Don Harris, of 48 years, along with 5 children, Scott Burrough of St. Louis, Mo., Patty (James) Midgette of Pelham, Al., Kit (Leslie) Bozeman of Alabaster, Al., Becky (Robbie) Elmore of Maylene, Al., and Kim (Dale) Payne of Maylene, Al. Betty was blessed with 16 grandchildren, and 12 great- grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2nd from 6-8 pm. Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd at 2:00 pm at Rockco’s Funeral Home, at 3715 Hwy 25 South, Montevallo, Al. 35115.The graveside service will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Montevallo. Officiating her service will be Reverend Jeff Holsomback, and Reverend Ricky Smith.
