Billie "Annie" Ann Ward

Billie Ann Ward “Annie”, age 89, of Wilton, Alabama passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Annie was born April 11, 1932. She graduated from Montevallo High School and married the love of her life, Curry Ward, soon after.

Annie was preceded in death by Curry Ward, husband; and Kay Franklin, daughter.

She is survived by Debbie Strickland, daughter; Buddy Rhodes, brother; four grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Annie was rich in all things that mattered most. Her love of Jesus, her love for family, and her passion for teaching children at Sunday School marked her life. Annie was a lifelong member of Wilton Baptist Church where many came to know her for her generous and servant hearted nature.

Annie was often found in her kitchen playing cards with her grandchildren or cooking for her family. She loved crafts, sewing and visiting with friends.

Annie was a passionate prayer warrior for her family, friends and even for strangers.

A visitation for Annie will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. A burial will occur Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Montevallo City Cemetery, Highway 73, Montevallo, Alabama.
