Billy was a people person who entertained with his stories. He loved to make people laugh with his great sense of humor and they loved to be around him.
He is survived by his daughters, Pamala Harris McGraw (Gary), Sandra Harris and honorary daughter, Latoya Hood (Alexander); and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Phyllis Joy Harris; parents; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Helena Methodist Church, 2035 County Road 58, Helena, AL 35080.
A visitation for Billy will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Helena Methodist Church, 2035 County Road 58, Helena, Alabama 35080. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Helena Methodist Church with burial following at Harmony Cemetery.
