Carl Glass, age 66 of Shelby, Alabama passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 03, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hermie Carl Glass Sr. and Betty June Wood Glass; sister, Joyce Ann Thomas. He loved shooting pool with all his buddies in the APA Pool League, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 13 years Angie (Lucas) Glass; daughter, Kristie Lee Glass; sons, Michael Carl Glass and Brandon Wayne Davenport; step kids, Vanessa, Sonya, Brian, and Eric; sisters, Kathy Elaine Thomas (James) and Elizabeth June St. Pierre (Dean); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 05, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM in the Rockco Funeral Home Chapel Montevallo. His funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 06, 2015 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Still Memorial Cemetery (Elliottsville) in Alabaster. Services will be under the direction of Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo.
