Doris Carroll Coffey Ferguson, age 85 of Birmingham passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Doris was a member of The Branch at Mission Hills Church in Alabaster. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Billy Mack Ferguson. She is survived by her son, Ralph Ferguson (Penny) of Woodstock, GA; daughter, Anne Ferguson Stansell (Garland) of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Pauline Smith of Decatur, AL; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A gathering will be held on Friday, February 19 from 1-2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo. A committal service will be held at 2:45 p.m. at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. The family would like to extend their most heartfelt thanks to the staff of South Haven Health and Rehabilitation for their care and concern for our mother in her last illness.
