Doris Herron, age 83, went to her heavenly home on May 31, 2016. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Beatrice and Bam Boothe; husband, Rufus F. Herron, and 16 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Don Russell (Jane), Geraldine Howell, Susan Allen, Betty Tubs (Phillip), Amanda Bice (Patrick), and Jessica Matthews; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held, Thursday, June 2nd from 6-8pm at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo. Funeral procession will line up at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo, AL June 3rd at 9:30am. Graveside services will be held at 10am at Macedonia Cemetery in Pea Ridge, AL.
