Edward Eugene “Duke”Bailey, age 71, of Randolph, Alabama passed away at his home on September 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margie Bailey and two brothers, David and Larry Bailey. He is survived by his son, Shannon Bailey; his daughter in law, Sherri Bailey; his brother, Jerry (Carolyn) Bailey; his sister, Edna Ruth Crenshaw; two granddaughters, Amanda Parker (Taylor) and McKayla Lechantre,; grandson and best friend, Jordan Bailey; one great grandchild, Bailey Parker. Mr. Bailey was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bailey’s services will be at Union Springs Baptist Church in Randolph. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 2 PM. Mr. Bailey will lie in state from 1 – 2 PM. Burial will follow in Union Springs Cemetery. Services to be officiated by Bro. Steve Johnson.
