John is Preceded in death by his parents; Thomas Brackin Sr. and Flossie B. Brackin.
He is Survived by his by his Brothers; Thomas Brackin Jr and Arthur Lee Brackin and sister; Peggy Brackin Gibson, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
John spent the majority of his life working in the logging industry and was an avid outdoorsmen, he spent most of his time enjoying nature, or with his family and friends always wearing his favorite overalls.
He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be held at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Calera, Alabama on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 12:30 PM
