Kathleen Swindle Stepp of Alabaster, Alabama passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Hattie Swindle of Red Bay, Alabama; siblings, Eupal Wells of Golden, Mississippi and Rebel Stockton of Double Springs, Alabama. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Melton L. Stepp of Alabaster, Alabama; siblings, Doyle and Floyce Swindle of Southaven, Mississippi, Nellie Patterson of Florence, Alabama, Mary and Junior Holder of Florence, Alabama and Odell and Tiny Swindle of Red Bay, Alabama; daughters, Debra L. Moore (Rodney) of Alabaster, Alabama and Ann Hill (Gary) of Pickerington, Ohio; grandchildren, Stacy Smith (Chris) of Alabaster, Alabama, Brian Harris (Dara) of Montevallo, Alabama, Jeromie Moore (Brandi) of Clinton, Mississippi, Jessica Moore (Adam Scott) of Alabaster, Alabama, Grant Hill and Briana Hill of Pickerington, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Madison Hotchkiss, Austin Harris, Ryan Harris, Mason Hotchkiss, Violet Smith, Braxton Smith, Ava Moore, Morgan Hotchkiss and Cooper Moore. Visitation will be held at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) Chapel on Thursday, December 22, 2016 between 10 am and 12 pm with a service to follow at 12 pm. Brother A. G. Stepp will officiate. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11am at Red Bay City Cemetery in Red Bay, Alabama.
