Maria Concepcion Alvarez de Cataño

Maria Concepcion Alvarez de Cataño (“Concha”) fue esposa y ama de casa, madre, abuela y bisabuela. Concha fue devota a su fe con cristo siempre en su corazón y de esa misma manera y pasión inculcó su amor por Dios a sus hijos y nietos.

Alguna de las cosas que Concha tanto disfruto fue:

Platicar anécdotas sobre nuestra niñez y también sobre su vida, compartiendo fotos para siempre recordar. Concha disfrutaba mucho compartiendo tiempo de calidad en familia siempre con una sonrisa que alegraba a quien sea. Para pasar el rato Concha siempre disfruto hacer piñatas para cualquier ocasión, ella siempre amablemente se ofrecía. También disfrutaba tejer y hacer figuras de sus palmitas preciadas. Le encantaba bailar, ella siempre fue el alma de la fiesta.

Nunca hubo un momento aburrido si estabas con ella. Siempre sabia como hacerte sonreír con su sentido del humor muy único. Concha se aseguraba de que cuando estuvieras en su casa te sintieras cómoda, en paz y muy querida(o). Su energía era tan pasiva. Su hospitalidad era única, Concha nunca dejaba que salieras de su casa sin comer. Su amor por todos era tan grande pero cada uno recibía a su manera un cariño individual. Siempre veía lo bueno en cada uno de nosotros.

La vida de Concha vivirá siempre en nuestros corazones. Concha deja a su querido esposo Emilio Cataño y sus once hijos, Lucia, Roberto, Maria Candelaria, Antonio, Juana, Gloria, Jose Guadalupe, Anabel, Maria Concepcion, Mirna, Gabriela, Margarita+ y Gabriel+ y sus 41 nietos.

Concha fue hija de Guadalupe Alvarez+ y Vicenta Rivera De Alvarez+. Ella creció en una familia llena de amor junto a sus 8 hermanos.

La tarde del 25 de Mayo de 2022 Concha fue llamada con Dios. Físicamente no está presente pero su espíritu siempre vivirá en nuestros corazones. La extrañaremos mucho en especial su querido esposo y compañero de vida de 66 años.

Maria Concepcion Alvarez de Cataño (Concha) was a loving stay at home wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Concha was very devoted to her faith and passed on her passion for God to all of her children and grandchildren.

Some of the things she enjoyed were:

Telling stories of our childhood and sharing her collection of photos with everyone! She also enjoyed making piñatas, dancing, sewing, and making figurines from blessed palm leaves.

When being around Concha there was never a dull moment. She had an amazing sense of humor and always managed to find a way to lighten up the mood. She always made sure you were included, comfortable and at home. Her energy was so peaceful. You never left her house hungry or without a warm hug. Concha had a love for everyone but this love was individualized and special for each and every one of us. She saw the good in us, even when we did not see it ourselves.

The life of Concha will live on in the hearts of her family forever. Concha was preceded by her husband, Emilio Catano and her eleven children, Lucia, Roberto, Maria Candelaria, Antonio, Juana, the late Gabriel, Gloria, the late Margarita, Jose Guadalupe, Anabel, Maria Concepcion, Mirna, Gabriela, and her 41 grandchildren. Concha was the daughter of the late Guadalupe Alvarez and Vicenta Rivera de Alvarez. Concha grew up in a loving family and was the oldest of 8 siblings.

The afternoon of May 25th, 2022 Concha left this earth in presence but her spirit will always live in the hearts of all of her loved ones, especially her loving husband of sixty-six years that will miss her dearly.
