Noah was a kind and caring person who touched the lives of everyone he met. He always had a smile and a kind word for those around him, and his presence brought comfort and joy to our family and friends. Losing him so suddenly has left us all in shock and deep sadness.
Noah enjoyed many interests including playing XBox, fishing with his dad, watching the Cardinals play baseball and listening to classic rock music. He enjoyed cheering on the Florida Panthers hockey team as well as hollering "Roll Tide!" Noah was best described as goofy and was always good for a laugh. His favorite memories were time spent with his family and friends, especially with his niece and nephew, at home or at the beach.
Noah was preceded in death by his grandparents, Patsy and James Godfrey, Sr., and Daniel Reilly; and his stepbrother, Dustin Hemphill. He is survived by his parents, Joanne Edwards (Gary) of Jemison, AL and Jim Godfrey (Connie) of Rochester, IL; grandparents, Kay and Howard Oppenheim; sisters, Alora Godfrey and Keelin Mims; stepsisters, Brandi Speaks (Devin), Bethany Crossin (Aaron), and Cassie Mims (James); stepbrothers, Randy Edwards (Suzie), and Chris Edwards (Erika); niece, Serenity Celeste Mims; nephew, Benjamin Tucker Mims; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, AL 35115, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Montevallo City Cemetery.
