Norma Jean Alexander went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Bill Alexander, and her three children, David Alexander (Susan), Debra Alexander Helms (Clifford), and Dean Alexander (Beth). She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Stephen Stewart, Julia Alexander, Jessica Helms, Caleb Alexander, Christian Alexander, and Isaiah Alexander. She has three great-grandchildren as well, and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, June Webb and Charlie Ford Phillips. Also by her granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Helms. Viewing will be at Calera Bible Baptist Church from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 29th, 2016. Funeral services will be at Calera Bible Baptist Church on Friday, September 30th, 2016, at 2 p.m. She will lie-in-state one hour prior to her service.
