Raymond H. Hill

Raymond H. Hill, age 86, of Alabaster, Alabama passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. Raymond was a long-time employee/manager of Western Supermarket and owner of Hill's Quick Stop Convenience Store in Columbiana. He was an avid sports fan. Roll Tide! Go Braves! He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to so many.

He is survived by his sons, Rick Hill (Heather) of Rainbow City, AL and Gary Hill (Ann) of Pickerington, OH; grandchildren, Nick Hill (Lora), Payton Hill, Grant Hill and Brianna Hill; great-granddaughter, Maura Kay Hill; sister, Ivy Eddy (Harvey) of Alabaster, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond was preceded in death by his son, David; father, John Hill; mother, Nora Hogan; brother, Lawrence Hill; former wife and true love, Gloria; and long-time special friend, Eloise Blankenship.

A visitation for Raymond will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Bro. Jerry Epps will officiate.

Raymond will be laid to rest in Still Cemetery, Alabaster, AL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
