She loved her family very much, almost as much as Alabama football.
Regina graduated from Phillips High School where she a cheerleader and a member of the Honor Society. Through the years, she worked as a legal secretary before opening her own business, Camelot Characters, later Camelot Photos. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, visiting five countries and forty-nine states together.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank Hendon; 4 children; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, at Trinity United Methodist Church in the Chapel, 1400 Oxmoor Rd, Birmingham, AL 35209, with visitation to begin at 10:30 AM. A committal service will occur Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.
