Ruth Ann Bailey

Born May 4th, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to Edwin Wallace Lee and Angie Delaney, passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 60 on October 30th, 2017.

Survived by her loving husband, Jerrell David Bailey Sr.; sons, Jerrell David Bailey Jr. of Wilsonville, Leonard (Brandi) Bailey of Columbiana, and Timothy (Leah) Bailey of Columbiana; grandkids, Tori, Skyler, Colby, Jackson, Alex, Isabella, Caitlin and Casen; siblings, Lisa Burnette, Linda Houston, Helen Lee, and David Lee; and other loving family and friends.

Ruth was a longtime resident of Shelby County, Alabama. She attended high school in Chelsea, Alabama and went on to become a registered LPN. She was a devoted wife who loved her family and grandkids that brought her so much joy in life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be held at Shelby Church of God, 680 Co Rd 308, Shelby, AL 35143 at 12:00 PM Friday, November 3 with visitation from 10AM-12PM. Interment to follow service at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, 5727 Highway 51, Wilsonville, AL 35186.
