On Sunday, August, 28, 2022, Allen W. Robbins joined his wife of 53 years, Patricia Robbins. He was born on November 25, 1941 in Harland, Kentucky to Virgil and Jean Robbins. After the loss of his wife, he later married Henrietta Robbins. He was a respected master transmission specialist and passed these skills to his children and grandchildren. He is survived by 5 of his 6 children, Kenny (Kim), Tracie Schofield (Jeff), Allen (Linda), Michael (Shannon),and Jamie (Correen). He has 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, daughter, Kathryn, and grandchildren, Steven, Michael and Katie.
He spent his last years with his partner and close friend, Irene Cohen. His family is thankful for her years of companionship and loving care.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 3rd. Family viewing will be at 9 a.m. at White Chapel and graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. The family requests that donations be made to Wounded Warriors Project in lieu of flowers.
