Rene, Billy and all of her beautiful grandchildren, I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful lady inside and out.I have wonderful memories of a sweet lady that I had the honor to call "Aunt." She is with all of the other loved ones we have lost. I understand the pain you are all going through. I am thinking of you all every day.

My goodness Im not sure where to begin or even what to say. I love you Mama Donaldson..... always. Even after i divorced, you told me i divorced your son not the family. Look ats us now....You welcomed me with open arms the first day we met. 22 years ago I. remember all to well...I was just going to meet you and Daddy Donaldson or so I thought...ha on a Sunday after noon it was more like y'all two, Aunt Margie, Uncle Farrell, Renee, Cori, Jimi, Josh, Tasha, Grand~Mama, Grand~Daddy & I think Brenda was also there. I think it was. Mothers Day. I was shy and all I thought about was that many faces and names how will I ever remember all these names...now im like lady how could i ever forget. Dang it.........my goodness ............
Anyway of course if anyone went to your house & you had that apron on that meant one thing all 95 people there were gonna make you " just try it " well it got my mind off the butterflies I had. I love you mama donaldson. Always loved never forgotten.

You were a special person and we will miss you terribly. We are in awe of anyone that can lose their Father, Mother, Husband, and Son; yet, continue to smile and worry more about everyone besides themselves.  Heaven is a better place with your arrival.

Renee and Billy, I loved your mother so much, she was like an aunt to me rather than a second cousin. I will miss our phone conversations we had on a monthly basis. Each time we talked she would always tell me how you two were doing and Jimi, She loved you all so much. Diane and her entire family have been a large part of my family for at least three generations. She's a wonderful person, loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. I will look forward to seeing her beautiful smile when I get to the other side. May God give comfort to her family.

Diane was the most loving grand lady I have ever met. She was a dear friend to my entire family. I know this is a very hard loss for you and Billy but she is dancing around in heaven with her loved ones that passed before her and I just bet her and Aunt Pat are fishing in heaven's ponds. I know God's love and comforting arms will help you but I still hurt for you. I loved Diane very much and will miss her as much as I miss my own mother. I love you dearly my friend.

I still have a hard time taking it in...I spent the afternoon with her last Saturday, and we had another sweet time of fun, food & fellowship. She was one of my best friends, and I will miss her terribly....just makes one more good reason for going Home myself!  Let me know when/if I can do anything, anything, anytime.  I know how much she loved you and was so proud of you.  You were so good to her. I love you so much.

I was SO blessed to call you my mother! I will miss you with every breath I take forever; but I will also feel your love and treasure all the laughs and tears we shared together. Diane was a special cousin of mine.  We shared one special summer together at our Grandparent's house in Tennessee.  I loved Diane and will miss her greatly.

I am a friend of Brenda's from Texas and feel that I knew Diane through Brenda's love for her. Brenda talked about her always as her sister/friend and, even today, when she was telling me about Diane going to be with her Savior Brenda mentioned, again, her long friendship and love for Diane. It is so difficult to say goodbye to someone special in your life. You were a special cousin and a special friend.  We did not see each other often enough (due to distance), talked on the phone occasionally...but knew that we loved each other and were in each other's thoughts.  It was a family bond that we understood from early on. You were always there for my mom, your Aunt Margie, and I loved you extra for that.  Lee & I will miss you so much, and will cherish our last visit at your home.  Our love & prayers to your family.  Heaven is now blessed with your presence.

To all of you we send our love.  We are so very sorry and pray that God is holding you close.  She was always so sweet, soft-spoken and kind and we are glad to have known her.

Not many can say they have had a sister/friend from the womb.  Our mothers were close friends and were pregnant with us at the same time.  We were constantly together growing up and have maintained this friendship all of our lives.  She is truly like a sister to me and will always be a part of me.  We will meet again in Heaven!  Renee and Billy:  I love you all so much and we will always be in touch.

Dear Donaldson family we were so sorry to learn of Diane's passing away and want to offer our heartfelt prayers to the entire family. I never knew she or John real well, but they were neighbors of my sister and brother-in-law the manley's who lived across the street from each other all these years. My sitershelby was truly saddened to learn of this and she will miss Diane immensely. Even though they didn't see each other everyday my sister always knew Diane was there and I think I can say the same about Diane. It is rare to have great neighbors for this long and we thank you for your mom's being just that to our sister. Please know we will be lifting your family up in prayer during this time .
