Amanda Elaine Pounds

Pounds, Amanda Elaine, 19, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 31, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Tim Dilbeck officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Amanda was a 2009 graduate of Macon East Montgomery Academy. She was currently attending Auburn University of Montgomery as a pre-veterinarian student. The family asks that flowers be omitted and donations made to Amanda Pounds American Junior Brahman Association Scholarship Fund at Amerifirst Bank, 8165 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, AL 36116 or one’s favorite charity. She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Kathryn Barlow and her maternal grandmother, Julie Barlow. She is survived by her mother, Kathryn Barlow Pounds; father, Chris Pounds; brother, Matthew Pounds; sister, Morgan Pounds; step mother, Suzanne Pounds; step sisters, Anslee Warren and Layton Warren; step brothers, Michael Warren and Chandler Warren; maternal grandfather, Dr. Robert Barlow; paternal grandparents, Denny and Shirley Pounds and several aunts, uncles and cousins
