Andrew Joseph Woodcock passed away in Montgomery, AL on Wednesday, January 26, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol J. Arthur Woodcock, his children, Jeffrey Woodcock (Kim) and Andrea Priola (Frank), his grandchildren, Rodney, Michael, Maxwell, Sidney, and Emily, his siblings, John Woodcock (Julie), Paul Woodcock (Nadia), and Mary Severson (Dave), and his son-in-law, Michael Shakal. Mr. Woodcock served the United States Air Force for over 30 years and retired with the rank of Lt. Col. He volunteered with Capital Area Adult Literacy Council for more than 20 years in various capacities including serving as Board President. A visitation will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 12:00PM-1:00PM with a service beginning at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in St. Margaret’s at Oakwood Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Capital Area Adult Literacy Council, 252 Montgomery St., Montgomery, AL 36104.
