Annette Huddleston, age 94, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on November 5, 2022. A funeral service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Saturday, November 19, at 11am, with a reception to follow. Visitation will precede the service at 10am. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Winston Huddleston, and is survived by her son, Ted Huddleston; her grandchildren, Meredith Anderson, Emmalyn Huddleston, and Peter Huddleston; and her great-grandchildren, Orrick and Huxley Anderson. Annette grew up in Montgomery, Alabama and attended Huntington College for her BA, after which she earned a Master’s Degree in Education. She then taught in the Montgomery County Public Schools for 30 years, retiring in 1983. After retirement, she travelled extensively and spent quality time with family and friends. We will miss her calm and encouraging presence but are happy that she is now at rest.
