We announce with great sadness the passing of Mrs. Annette Stewart, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, on September 13, 2024. Born on January 12, 1953, Annette was a pillar of love and kindness in the lives of many.
Annette was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Addie Ward and Elbert Churchwell, her beloved daughter Allison Stewart, her caring sister Julie Bishop, and her nephew Ken Bishop. She leaves behind her adoring husband, Richard Stewart, and her loving sons, Andrew Stewart, James Stewart, and Jeffrey Stewart.
She also leaves behind a strong and caring family, including her grandchildren Ansley, Lyanna, Adaleigh, Kaiden, and Ezra Stewart, who were her joy. She is also survived by her brothers, Gerry and Charles Churchwell, whose companionship she cherished.
Annette was a proud member of the Landmark Church of Christ, where she served and worshipped faithfully, influencing many with her kind, gentle, caring, loving, and strong spirit. Annette taught us, by example, that respect given is respect earned. This was a lesson she lived by and imparted to those around her.
Among her many accomplishments, Annette treasured the family she built the most. Not limited to her three sons, throughout her life, she opened her home and heart to countless others. She never cooked for just five, but for ten or more, never knowing who might show up for dinner but ready to serve them all the same.
Annette's legacy is one of selfless compassion. She extended help to all who asked and often gave more than was asked of her. Her strong love and generosity touched many lives and will continue to inspire generations to come. We will forever cherish her memory in our hearts.
