Annie Kate Sinclair Britton (Katie), widow of the late Luke Larkin Britton, passed away in Montgomery, AL, on June 28, 2012. She was 94 years old. Katie was born in Pachuta, Mississippi but was a resident of Montgomery for more than 65 years. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Britton Moore and son-in-law Gary Stephen Moore; her three grandchildren: Christian Sinclair Rushing; Andrew Britton Rushing, Luke Larkin Rushing; and her four great grandchildren: Riley Britton Rushing; Spencer Sinclair Rushing; Stern Caunter Rushing, and Andrew Britton Rushing, Jr. Katie was affectionately known as “Baba” by her grandsons and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery Sunday morning, July 1 at 10 am. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service at Leak Memory Chapel.
