Arthur W. Williams of Pike Road, Al passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 21, 2025, at the age of 91. Art was born on July 2, 1934, in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Wadsworth and Dorothy Williams. On August 24, 1954, he married Sally M. Bucklen who predeceased him, on February 28, 1998.
Art was a life-long Go getter and managed through all the hardships life threw his way. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1951 and fought during the Korean War for two years. He pursued his career in the agriculture business for many years with worldwide travels. He was an avid outdoors man, with a passion for hunting.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane of twenty-five years. In addition, he is survived by four children and two stepchildren. Victoria (Mark) of Crystal Lake, IL, Cynthia (Don) of Merrillan, WI, Arthur R (Diane) of Frisco, TX and Michael (Tina) of MO, Tesa (Jeff) of Sheridan, AR and Paul (Erin) of Montgomery, AL.; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 10:00 am at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home in Montgomery, AL followed by a private burial. Please consider a donation to the Baptist Health Hospice in Montgomery, AL or St. Jude Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
