Austin Sullivan

Sullivan, Austin Ray, (17) passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011, near his home in Ramer, Alabama. Austin, born on November 26, 1994, leaves to cherish his memory his father and mother, Chad and Jennifer Sullivan of Ramer, Al; his grandfather, Jim Sullivan of Sellers, Al; grandparents, Vince and Terri Cedrone of Montgomery, Al, Jon and Sherrie Hiltbrand of Tunnell Hill, Ga.; great-grandparents, Leonard and Dorothy Harvey of Medford, Oregon; an uncle and aunt, Ray and Holli Hiltbrand; cousins, Andrew and Jacob Hiltbrand of Cumming, Ga. And other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one of the loves of his life, his grandmother, (GG) Virginia Sullivan of Sellers, Al. Austin, a student of South Montgomery County Academy (SMCA), Grady, Al, was loved and respected by teachers, coaches and students. When he returned to SMCA in August 2011, it took only a few days for all students to know who he was and to love him. He was asked just a few hours before his death if he likes going to school at SMCA and he replied, “I love it!, I like being where you know everyone and where everyone loves one another.” Most of all Austin loved his Lord Jesus and being with his best friend, Taylor, he loved him like a brother. He loved being with family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting and playing his PS3 with Taylor and his Dad. He was number 20 on the 2011 Raiders’ football team and was looking forward to playing baseball at SMCA. The family will receive friends at Leak Memory Chapel on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00. Funeral services will be held at Snowdoun Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 2:00 with Reverend Paul Bortolazzo officiating. Burial will follow in Ramer Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Taylor Broadway, Mason Pierce, Brady Edge, Holden Grode, Bucky (Dalton) Stuart and Hunter Pritchet. Honorary pallbearers will be, Jet Anderson , Brady Medley, Dustin Jones and Red McQueen. Donations can be made to Ramer Bank, attention Cindy Overstreet. Leak Memory Chapel Directing.
