Funeral / Memorial service: 3:00 p.m., Saturday October 16, 2021 at White Chapel Funeral Home in Montgomery AL. Visitation for family and friends (also at White Chapel): 1:00-3:00 p.m., before the service. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery following the service. Kay had a heart of gold. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and family fiercely - never wanting anyone to feel left out or to go without. Beautiful inside and out, Kay had the most joyful and contagious laughter. She saw the humor in almost everything, and was always being silly, making jokes, finding a way to make you laugh. She was often seen wearing her headphones, singing, dancing, and sharing her favorite songs with her family. Her youthful spirit was infectious, and her soul beautiful. Kay also shared that spirit when she worked at Hager Hinge for 13 years.
Kay gave her life to the Lord at the age of 30. She attended church at Bethel Pathway to Life, where she took her family to worship and walk with the Lord. Many of her favorite songs were songs of worship. In prayer, she shared her experiences and encounters with the Lord. She shared the beautiful gift of His Love to encourage others, and she left this world confident that this Gift will continue to lift her children throughout their adult years.
We are confident that Kay received a warm welcome into eternity by our Lord, as she reunited with her mother, sisters, and brothers.
