Bessie P. Hollon, age 91 of Montgomery, AL passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2:00pm, Oakwood Annex Cemetery. Leak Memory Chapel will be directing. Mrs. Hollon is survived by her husband of 73 years, James C. Hollon; daughter, Cheryl Hord; granddaughter, Brittany Hord; brothers, Carl “Pete” Peters, Jr., Doug Peters, and Bill Peters; sister, Glenda Ann Fowler; a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, James C. Hollon, Jr. and Richard Clair Hollon; her sister, Nellie Irene Peters and her two brothers, George Peters and Bobby Peters. Mrs. Hollon was a member of St. James United Methodist Church of Montgomery. Pallbearers will be Randy Swain, Scooter Bodiford, Christopher James, Matt Phillips and Thomas Hord.
